Gahanna Lincoln High School’s Lions Locker is an anonymous donation and collection pantry that provides help to students and families in need. The Lions Locker generously gives students the opportunity to acquire gifts they would not normally have. As a result, the goods in The Lions Locker are in high demand. Further, given the recent apartment fire that left a handful of Gahanna students stranded, donations are greatly needed. These students and their families have lost everything in the devastating fire, so the Lions Locker is in need of gift cards, nonperishable food, small appliances, kitchen items, linens, towels, and toiletries. All donations are greatly appreciated and go to supporting these families in need. Donations can be dropped off in the main office.
The Lions Locker is partnering with Gahanna Police to hold their second annual “Shop with a Cop” for the 2017 holidays. Members of the Gahanna Police will use donations to take several Gahanna Jefferson Elementary students and their families shopping during December. The goal is to provide each student in need with Meijer gift cards, and the Lions Locker would gratefully accept donations from you, your family, your business or an organization. “Shop with a Cop” is an event that brings the community together and gives a child an unforgettable experience.
